Marketing Coordinator (Washington County, UT)

Hughes General Contractors is actively seeking an experienced, energetic, driven, innovative, and creative Marketing Coordinator to manage the day-to-day marketing and administrative needs for our Southern Utah Division.

The Marketing Coordinator will support multiple offices across our Southern Utah Division (Cedar City, St.
George, Enterprise, Escalante, and Knab) and requires the ability to coordinate with other staff remotely.
This position requires excellent strategic planning, written and oral communication skills, organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple project deadlines.
What your day will look like:
Perform daily administrative tasks to ensure the functionality and coordination of the department's activities.
Work hand in hand with the marketing director in organizing, coordinating, and aiding various projects.
Augment our companies' market presence, write marketing literature as needed Assists in planning, organizing, and publicizing fundraising and special events.
Acts as department liaison to media representatives.
Meets publication and other deadlines for printed materials.
Build relationships with the local community and establish company presence.
Attend committee meetings and volunteer events.
Assist in shipping, receiving, and ordering of swag and supplies for local offices.
What we'll need from you:
High school diploma or GED, though a two-year degree or higher in Marketing, Business, or another relevant fields preferred 5 years related experience highly preferred.
Intermediate or higher skill level in content creation is strongly preferred.
Adobe experience highly preferred.
Great understanding of marketing principles.
Graphic design, print, marketing, task management platforms, online applications, analytics, etc.
Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and adhere to deadlines.
Well-organized with clear and polished communication skills.
Good knowledge of marketing research techniques and databases.
Strong knowledge of current digital marketing programs and techniques with a desire and capacity to grow knowledge and skills Strong data analysis experience that translates to successful campaign execution Strong time management and organizational skills with a willingness to be accountable Demonstrated ability to write effective copy/content that delivers marketing results Proactive communicator that fosters collaboration throughout organization Team player who is able to coordinate and work with extended team members to meet customer needs The ability to manage multiple projects at once in a professional and confident manner Knowledge of online advertising with desire and capacity to grow knowledge and skills Experience in content creation (reels, video editing) is a plus.
