Our program serves adolescent girls.
Students live in a family style residence where community and interpersonal relationships are encouraged.
As an Undergraduate Clinical Intern, you would be responsible for creating a secure and encouraging environment to help support real life change for our students.
Our team works to uncover the academic, social, and emotional potential of girls who have been held back by emotional and behavioral struggles.
Sunrise incorporates Relational DBT into every aspect of the program and ensures that therapists and staff are trained to help girls practice these skills on a continual basis.
As an Undergraduate Clinical Intern, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director, Clinical Director, Administrative Team, and Residential Staff focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

You will be scheduled one 16-hour Sunday shift a month and be required to attend a weekly shift meetingFive to ten, unpaid, clinical intern hours per week.
(To be arranged by you) This can include:
Sitting in on individual and group therapy sessions.
Experiencing collaborative, weekly, treatment team sessions.

Experience working with adolescents, childcare, scouting, camps is preferred.
Ability to supervise students and ensure that they are being safe to themselves and to those around them.
Ability to develop healthy, meaningful and appropriate staff/student relationship with each student.
Ability to challenge teens in a way that makes them feel loved and cared about.
Ability to observe and chart student behavior.
Valid Driver's License and at least 20 years or older.
Ability to pass a state background check and drug test.
Interest in behavioral sciences.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
