The Store Manager duties are as follows, but not limited to:
Making schedules, responsible for placing orders and receiving orders, inventories, helping and assisting customers to finding the right foods, products for their pets, with excellent customer service.
Identifying problems, and creating solutions to them.
Promote good sales numbers, increase social media presence, and represent the store by staying true to our company values.
Buying goods and products.
A Buyer develops relationships with pet manufactures and distributors to effectively with efficiency, collaborate with pet brands in running promotions and Sales.
Making purchases for the store by negotiating and searching for the best price possible when placing weekly orders.
From the products bought to resell, to the products we don't sell but utilize daily to operate the store.
Also for returning/shipping back, damaged, incorrect, customer returned or misordered product.
Responsible for the training and development of new employees.
Responsible for making sure each day is being operated well.
Staying in communication daily about the store's satisfaction, ways to improve, and collaborating with other managers at other local locations.
(example:
shared inventory and cross trained employees) Must be able to receive, and give constructive criticism.
Communicate, delegate, and see projects through.
Create daily plans, with follow through.
Keep an upbeat attitude as the leader of the team, with high expectations of your team.
Keeping your team motivated with hustle in their step is easy to maintain when they are seeing their leader with motivation.
Create, and keep, lasting relationships with customers.
Be creative by seeking out other possible streams of revenue as needed.
Merchandising.
Responsible for growth in sales numbers, customers, and keeping your team on track daily.
Responsible for keeping proper inventory on the shelves.
Must be able to lift large bags of dog food on a regular basis.
Responsible for a clean and organized store.
This is a Multi-Tasking position that requires a self starter attitude.
Managers are required to be available during busy Holiday Seasons and be willing to work overtime as needed.
We specialize in natural diets for pets at Bone Appetit.
Must learn, and desire to learn, continue to learn- nutrition and the alternative remedies we specialize in.
Having experience in all areas of this position are not requirements.
