Mechanical Engineer- Entry Level

We are looking for an entry level mechanical engineer. The ideal candidate will have an aptitude for machine design as well as technical writing. The scope of this position may evolve over time based on performance and interests of the individual. Initial responsibilities will include assisting senior engineers in the following: documentation of components and materials for new products, CAD design of new parts and assemblies as well as adaption and improvement of existing designs to new applications, and assisting in final assembly and quality check prior to delivery to end user.
This is a 6 month contract with option to hire. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.
Required:
BS in Mechanical Engineering or closely related field
Solid modeling experience (SolidWorks preferred)
Understanding of mechanical design and drafting procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Well organized and detail oriented
Desired:
Related internship / co-op experience
CAM / machining experience
Physical Demands:
Normal duties will be in an office setting. Work may occasionally require shop or lab duties including skilled and accurate physical operations requiring coordination and high levels of caution (some components are fragile and high value) along with infrequent moderate lifting (up to 75 lbs).

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
